The invention relates to an air-conditioning measuring instrument having a radiation detector of the type of a thermopile, as well as having an electrical sensor for determining the air temperature. Use is made, as electrical sensor for determining the air temperature, of a thermocouple which is situated in the radiation shadow of the radiation detector and whose hot junction is constructed with a low mass in such a way that it adapts to the air temperature in a manner practically as free from inertia as the cold junctions of the thermopile of the radiation detector. It is particularly advantageous in this regard, that there is no need for means for an additional air flow in order to bring about the adaptation to air temperature. By contrast, the instrument housing accommodates a thermally variable resistor which permits the respective measured values to be related to a specific temperature, in particular to 0 DEG C.
