The invention relates to the foundation of a mast for a high-power transmission line as provided in particular for single-column masts. The object of the invention, in the case of a mast foundation, is to provide a foundation which can be dismantled again in a simple manner in order to shift a high-power transmission line. According to the invention this is done in such a way that a base plate is arranged on the foundation base, and that the mast is locked centrally on the base plate and is supported underground via at least three struts adjustable in length and connected to the base plate. <IMAGE>
