Clavam compounds

摘要

The invention relates to the novel clavam derivative Tü 1718Z which is produced by fermentation and has the formula <IMAGE> to salts of this compound and to substance mixtures which can be isolated from culture broths and which contain this compound or its salts. The microorganism used is the strain Tü 1718 of the species Streptomyces antibioticus, subsp. antibioticus, which was isolated from a soil sample from north Thailand. The clavam derivative, its salts and the said substance mixtures have antibacterial, antifungal and tumour-inhibiting effects.
