PURPOSE:To prevent operator's misoperation by providing a means which controls an original press-contacting member so that it is not opened during exposure and a means which lock it. CONSTITUTION:A gear 6 fixed on a pivotal shaft 5 of a platen cover 4 is engaged with a driving gear 8 of a motor 9, and a fixed gear 10 is engaged with a solenoid 15 through links 11 and 12. When the solenoid 15 operates, the gear 10 moves to right against a spring 16 to engage an intermediate gear, inhibiting a cover 4 from being driven. When the solenoid is not in operation, the gears 10 and 7 are disengaged from each other and the cover 4 is opened and closed by being driven by a motor 9 and also opened and closed even manually. Therefore, the platen cover 4 is locked during exposure not to open, and damage to eyes by flash light of the exposure due to operator's misoperation is prevented. |
