The invention relates to a device for the transmission of a rotary movement, especially for motor vehicle drives, by means of an axle which comprises two axle parts telescopically supported inside one another, which are rotationally connected together by an axially elastic corrugated tube, the outer axle part being accommodated and supported in a housing in order to obtain a structurally favourable, permanently play-free design, this support and the telescopic guide of the two axle parts lying close together and both axle parts having flanges lying parallel and adjacent to one another, which are arranged outside the housing and connected by the corrugated tube.
