Closure plug arrangement which can be inserted in the temperature-control channel of a plastics injection mould

The closure plug arrangement consists of a bushing-like or hollow plug-like closure body and a displacement body which is displaceable with respect to the closure body and when displaced enlarges the closure body radially from the inside and, when the closure body is supported on an abutment, can be converted to its widening position by means of an actuating device which engages therewith and can be operated from outside the injection mould. The closure plug can be simply fitted at a predetermined point and positioned with high accuracy even in a completely smooth passage bore (if appropriate also wetted with a drilling oil) of a temperature-control channel, in such a manner as to be easy to inspect from outside the mould, in that a guide rod (13), as a component of the actuating device, forms the abutment and can be connected in a compression-resistant manner with the closure body (24) and is detachable from said closure body (24), and in that an actuating rod (21) which can be connected to the displacement body (23) extends along the guide rod (13) and is retained by the latter. <IMAGE>
