PURPOSE:To make assembling simpler than the case where it is made directly at the inside of a hold case and to facilitate dealing with miniaturization by assembling a head assembly throuth a flat spring and fitting the arm of the flat spring 1 to the hold case. CONSTITUTION:A leg part of a write/read core 5 of a core assembly is inserted into a center hole 1a of the flat spring 1. The leg part of an erasing yoke 3 is inserted into a lateral hole 1b to nip the end of the erasing core 6 of the core assembly 2. Then, a write/read coil 9 is inserted into the leg part of the write/ read core 5. A back core 10 is connected to the leg part of the write/read core 5 and clamped by a spring 11. A groove 12a for incorporating the flat spring 1 is cut at the center of the hold case made of an insulator such as synthetic resin, etc., and a hole 12b for containing the part below the flat spring 1 of the head assembly 14. To incorporate the assembly 14 in the case 12, the arm 1c of the assembly 14 is inserted into the groove 12a of the case 12, and fixed with an adhesive.
