PURPOSE:To improve the ignition performance of the titled burner and to make it possible to completely carry out combustion at the time of steady-state combustion by bringing a nozzle into contact with an injectord and to suppress the suction of air at the time of ignition, and separating the nozzle from the injector after the ignition to improve the suction of air. CONSTITUTION:A vaporized fuel gas injected through the nozzle 6 sucks up combustion air at an injector part 8 by an ejector effect, and is sufficiently mixed with the combustion gas in the course of passing through a gas supply pipe 9, the gaseous mixture being supplied to the catalyst 11 through a gas supply port 10. In this case, a heating chamber 15 having the catalyst 1 and a gas flow quantity adjusting valve 5 acting by a heat sensitive responsive element 14 acting depending on the temperature of the heating chamber 15 are provided in the burner. The nozzle 6 is fixed to the flow quantity adjusting valve 5 and is connected to the heat sensitive responsive element 14 at the unburnt time so that it is in contact with the injector 8, and it is separated from the injector 8 at the time of combustion. As a result, at the time of ignition, the nozzle 6 is so arranged that air is sucked only through the groove of the injector 8 to reduce the air excess ratio and at the time of combustion, the interval between the nozzle 6 and the injector 8 is enlarged to increase the air excess ratio. |
