PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency and accuracy of height adjustment by a method in which a pile is driven into a pit excavated to the side and bottom of a foundation, and a jack is set on the arm of a support metal fitted on the head of the pile to lift up the bottom of the foundation. CONSTITUTION:A pit 3 is excavated in the side of a foundation 2, and a pile 4 is driven into the pit 3. A support metal 5 with an arm 6 is fitted on the upper end of the pile 4. The support metal 5 is inserted into a hole excavated from the pit 3 till the bottom 2a of the foundation 2, and the end of the arm 6 is positioned below the bottom 2a of the foundation. A jack 9 is set between the end of the arm 6 and the foundation bottom 2a to lift up the foundation 2. The adjustment of the height of the foundation 2 can thus be made with good efficiency and with a high accuracy. |
