The rotary bearing connection provided in the front axle suspension of a motor vehicle between the spring carrier (3) and the fork end of a transverse link has a rotary bearing shaft (18) with a central section (20) attached in the spring carrier (3) and two end sections (21 and 22) onto which the rubber part (34) of a rubber/metal element (33) is vulcanised. The rubber part (34) is provided at its ends with fixing sections (36) which protrude radially inwards into constrictions (23 and 24) in the shaft. The rubber/metal elements (33) have outer sleeves (35) which are clamped tightly to the transverse link via bearing half shells (40) on the forked end of the transverse link. <IMAGE>
