摘要 The invention relates to a method of optically scanning the fundus of the eye. It has the object of determining the spectral scattering of fundus regions of interest without any adverse effect of eye movements on the measurement results. According to the invention, eye movements are triggered for formation of the measurement signal as physiological scanning. For this purpose, two alternately monochromatically illuminated spots are positioned on the fundus of the eye in such a way that the foveola fixes on the spot illuminated first, whereas the fundus region to be examined lies between the two spots and/or symmetrically relative thereto with regard to the foveola. When illumination of the other spot starts, the eye of the subject becomes fixed on this spot. The scattered light is measured from that fundus region which is illuminated by the spot during the fixation movement. If the light alternation frequency is appropriately chosen, the eye fixes on the alternately illuminated spots almost automatically.
