In a vehicle for transporting unitised units, in particular prefabricated reinforced concrete garages on an auxiliary frame of a semi-trailer, there is provision according to the invention for the semi-trailer to have a lifting device and, on its chassis, a rear-axle assembly which can be moved out of its rear transport position when the floor supports are extended into a front loading and unloading position, and vice versa, and can be locked, in the front loading position of which rear-axle assembly the chassis can be swivelled down onto the floor by retracting the floor supports which are arranged at its rear end and can be swivelled back into its driving position, and for the lifting device to be connected to the extension arm and for the said device to serve to move the unitised unit over the auxiliary frame and over the unloading space, the extension arm bearing at its free end the unitised unit connection which is constructed as a support or suspension for the roof of the unitised unit or for the floor of the unitised unit, which connection can be rotated about a horizontal axis in the opposing direction at least through the angle enclosed by the swivelled-down chassis with the floor and can be moved over a stroke which corresponds to the difference of the height of the chassis in its transport position and the height of the floor of the unitised unit which has been lifted by means of the auxiliary frame by swivelling back the chassis and has been moved with the aid of the extension arm actuated by the traction device.
