PURPOSE:To make it possible to provide an air conditioner contained compactly in a construction member having a narrow width by internally providing in the curtain wall integrally an outdoor unit and an indoor unit of the air conditioner to afford thereto cooling and heating exhaustion functions. CONSTITUTION:A window 12 is formed on a panel 10, and a window glass 14 and a blind 16 are provided in the window 12. At a waist wall part 18 below the window 17 are provided the indoor unit 20 and the outdoor unit 22 in parallel to each other at a suitable interval, and a blast unit 24 is disposed therebetween. In the case of cooling the interior of the room, outdoor air flows into the indoor unit 22 through a vent port 44 as shown by arrow 70. Most part of the outdoor air is formed into high-temperature air 72 through heat exchange means 30, and is discharged through a vent port 42 to external air. In the indoor unit 20, indoor air cools the interior of the room by air circulation shown by an arrow 74 through a vent port 38, heat exchange means 26 and a vent port 36. In the case of heating the interior of the room, operations reverse to the operations carried out at the time of the above described cooling, are performed. |
