Sensor arrangement for monitoring the pivoting range of door wings

Arranged on the top edge of a motor-actuated door wing (2), on the side pointing in the pivoting direction, are one or a few individual sensors (3, 3') which emit essentially downwardly directed infrared light beams and which react to changes in the reflected quantity of light. If persons (or obstacles) are located in the pivoting range, the sensors can thus generate a signal which stops the door drive.
