A two-part closure for containers comprises a cap (10), which can be attached to the container, with a through-opening (21), and a rocker arm (40), which is held on the cap so as to be pivotable between a first and second position, with a through-channel (41). In the first position of the rocker arm, the through-channel (41) is aligned towards the through-opening (21) of the cap, while, in the second position, the rocker arm closes the through-opening. The rocker arm is held on the cap (10) by a bearing arrangement consisting of a pair of bearing journals (24) and a pair of bearing recesses (23) provided on the side of the rocker arm. The bearing journals (24) have chamfers (28) at their end sides. In the first and second positions of the rocker arm (40), they are surrounded by the circumferential walls (45, 46) of the bearing recesses (43) at least along a circumferential region (26) located adjacent to the through-opening (21). The sealing surface (49) on the rocker arm can therefore be pressed in the first and second positions with a high pre-stressing force against a sealing bead (22) which is provided on the cap (10) and surrounds the through-opening (21). <IMAGE>
