The present invention concerns a float device which prevents the fish from "escaping" after being hooked. The float device includes a means which is triggered when a fish moves on the hook or, to be more exact, jerks its head on the hook. The means causes the hook to be pulled slightly upwards, thereby fastening in the upper jaw of the fish. This has been made possible by arranging pins 9 on the said means 1, and the shoulders 10 of the pins are placed behind the edge 11 of the device. When the line 13 is drawn tight, the line draws the pin 9 in the direction towards the centre line of the device, and the shoulder slides out from the edge and the spring 8 pulls the line 13 and the hook upwards. <IMAGE> |
