PURPOSE:To set the timing of a signal freely through small-sized constitution by cutting off the photointerrupter with a blade when a shutter is closed, and generating an optical path opening signal with the other blade when the shutter starts opening. CONSTITUTION:The wing blade 30d of a shutter blade 30, signal holes 29c1- 29c3 of a shutter blade 29, and a couple 35 of light emitting and a photodetecting element from the photointerrupter. When a release button is pressed, the blade 30 turns around a hole 30a in a direction X' to put the blade 30d off the optical path, and the blade 29 turns around the hole 29a in a direction X to pass the signal holes through the optical path of the photointerrupter 35, thereby setting the timing of strobe light emission with a signal corresponding to an aperture value. A signal source when the shutter blade 30 starts moving and an aperture signal source based upon the blade 29 are provided to the individual blades, so even when the shutter blades are small, respective signals are led out at correct time.
