The invention covers a spacer for reinforcements in the form of a three-dimensional shaped part ... a bar of a lower mat laid out on the shuttering and provided with pick-ups which are arranged close to the lower end of standing legs and, when the spacer is in a tilted position, grip the bar, lift it, during righting into the vertical position at a predetermined distance from the shuttering, and hold it therein, and also serves at the same time as a support for a second, upper reinforcing mat, and which consists of reinforcing material and is adapted, in its height, to the thickness of the concrete parts to be produced, in which shaped part a hook-shaped steel-spring element with a locking element acting on one side is arranged on a, preferably central, standing leg approximately perpendicularly to the plane of the standing leg, whereas the other standing legs are provided with further supports, formed from parts bent at right angles, for the bar, to be undetachably incorporated in the steel-spring element, of the lower reinforcing mat.
