PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the space for a connector and also eliminate the need to attach and detach the connector by applying a developing bias to a developing device through a pressing means for pressing the developing device against a latent image holder. CONSTITUTION:When the developing device 5 is set in a copying machine body, a terminal plate 13 fitted to a pressure lever 10 contacts a conductive spring 17. The pressure lever 10 is energized clockwise and the terminal plate 13 presses a pin 12 through the conductive spring 17 to press the developing device 5 against the photosensitive drum 1, so the terminal plate 13 and conductive spring 13 contact each other securely. A high voltage current flows from a cable 15 to the terminal plate 13 through a screw 14 and is supplied to a developing sleeve 2 through the conductive spring 17, a conductive plate 18, screw 19, magnet roller shaft 20, and conductive spring 21 in order. |
