The mechanism has tackle engaging with the load and tipped by an arrangement (5) on the vehicle about a transverse axis (6) between the transport and upright positions. The tackle engages or releases the unit in the latter position by means of a coupling mechanism (7,8) engaging with mating portions on the load. The mechanism is constructed in telescoping portions, retracting when tipping starts towards the normal transport position. The portion extend when the upright position is reached. |
