PURPOSE:To execute automatically data transfer by providing an encue pointer and a decue pointer to a prescribed area of each main storage device so as to have only to start once a communication device. CONSTITUTION:A central processing unit 1 at the transmission side sets an address and a count of a transmission buffer to channel programs CP1, CP2 to transmit the first and the 2nd data so as to increment the value of the encue pointer 5 by ''1'' each. Moreover, a central processing unit 14 at the reception side sets an address and a count of a reception buffer to channel programs CP3, CP4 to receive the 1st and 2nd data and increments the encue pointer 18 by ''1'' each. Since the CP1, CP2 and the CP3, CP4 are looped respectively in this case, no I/O instruction is finished and the continuous transfer is attained by one start. The end of transfer is recognized by checking the decue pointers 6, 19 from the processing units 1 and 14. |
