The garden tool enables dead leaves to be gathered up and placed in a barrow. It comprises a handle (1) with a head (2) fixed (3, 4) at an angle. This head is made from flat sheet, bent to an L shape, the forward edge having teeth (5) to rake up the leaves. A brush can also be fitted. A spring loaded mobile jaw (6, 7, 12) is similarly shaped but without teeth, and pivots (11) on the handle to close onto the fixed jaw and enable a pile of leaves to be picked up. This action is controlled by a rod (20), operated from the top of the handle.
