PURPOSE:To produce TSZ crystalline aluminosilicate having small particle diameter, with simple process, by mixing a silica source with an alumina source, an alkali source, water, a neutral salt of alkali or alkaline earth metal, and a soluble carbohydrate, and heating the mixture at the crystallization temperature. CONSTITUTION:A silica source is mixed with an alumina source, an alkali source, water, a neutral salt selected from the neutral salts of an alkali metal and/or an alkaline earth metal, and a soluble carbohydrate. The mixture is heated at the crystallization temperature until the crystal of the objective compound is produced. The role of the soluble carbohydrate is expected to be the contribution to the dispersion stability of the gel in the production of crystalline aluminosilicate. The soluble carbohydrate used in the above process is preferably glucose, saccharose, soluble starch or their derivatives. The pH of the crystallization process of the crystalline aluminosilicate can be controlled by controlling the amount of the soluble carbohydrate added in the above production process.
