PURPOSE:To maintain a stable separating action without increasing a contact even if a separating piece wears, by forming an end of the separating piece contacting a blank to have a section of an acute angle triangle. CONSTITUTION:A portion of a separating piece 6 contacting a manuscript 2 or a separating roller 4 has a triangular section with an end angle a. Even if this separating piece 6 wears, it is urged by a compression spring 5 to pivot clockwise while the contact center O transfers to the upstream side of the separating roller 4, so that the contact area is not so much changed. Further, since a press force of a compression leaf spring 5 to the separating piece 6 is applied to an end of a supporting leaf spring 7 even if the contact center O moves to the upstream side, the reduction of moment due to the reduction of distance from the fulcrum P of said spring 7 to the contact center O is covered by the increase of moment due to the increase of distance from the contact center O to the pressure point R of said spring 5 without any change in the contact pressure. |
