PURPOSE:To obtain a polyurethane foam from waste PETR, etc., effectively and easily, by using a prepolymer obtained by reacting a terephthalate polyol composition with an organic polyisocyanate and a compound containing active hydrogen. CONSTITUTION:The prepolymer of a terephthalate polyol composition obtained by the hydrolysis of a polyalkylene terephthalate in a polyol, or a mixture of the prepolymer and an organic isocyanate, is made to react with a compound having >=2 active hydrogen atoms. The polyol is preferably a 2-4-functional polyol. The terephthalate polyol composition is preferably the one having a viscosity of 500-50,000cps/25 deg.C and a hydroxyl value of 100-600mg-KOH/g. The prepolymer is mixed with the organic isocyanate at a weight ratio of 90:10-10:90. |
