PURPOSE:To obtain powder useful as an improved adhesive, having extremely uniformly blended components, by blending a polyester resin with a specific compound such as a biphenyl compound, etc., a good solvent for both of them, and a poor solvent for the resin, distilling away the good solvent preferentially. CONSTITUTION:A polyester resin is blended with one of carboxylic acid ester, biphenyl compound, and sulfonamide compound having 25-150 deg.C melting point, a good solvent to dissolve both of them, and a poor solvent for the resin, and the good solvent is preferentially distilled away. A crystalline polyester comprising an acid component having >=40mol% acid component and a glycol component having >=70mol% ethylene glycol and/or 1,4-butandiol, having >=0.4 intrinsic viscosity, and 90-180 deg.C melting point is used as the resin.
