<p>PURPOSE:To enable easy and safe removal of only the outside coating layer by blowing hot air of the temp. lower than the heat resistant temp. of the inside coating layer of a wire body having plural layers of coatings and higher than the thermal deformation temp. of the outside coating layer to said wire body from the side. CONSTITUTION:After the temp. of the hot air from a hot air dryer 6 stabilizes, the position where said temp. is within the range of the temp. lower than the heat resistant temp. of the silicone resin of a buffer layer 4 and higher than the thermal deformation temp. of the nylon of an outside coating layer 3 is selected. A fiber is so positioned in said position that the hot air is applied to the fiber core approximately perpendicularly to the fiber axis from the side at the top end of the fiber core. The nylon of the layer 3 is thereupon softened and deformed and is pushed backward of a fiber strand 4 by the air pressure of the hot air, by which a part of the nylon is blown off. The part where the hot air is applied is gradually moved downward and when the sample is dislocated from the hot air thereafter, the nylon solidifies immediately and the nylon is stripped from the fiber strand. The stripped nylon is easily removed simply by pulling the same by hand.</p> |
