PURPOSE:To select voice data consisting of various languages from terminals and to transmit information with an optimum language by providing a work station with a voice I/O device and also providing a CPU with a translation part, voice conversion part, composition processing part, etc. CONSTITUTION:A document processing part 4 in the CPU1 is used from a work station 13 to form a document to be transmitted on the basis of a character data format. If necessary, said document is translated into a language corresponding to a destination to be transmitted and selected by the translation part. If a terminating system is provided with a voice output function, the translated document is converted into voice data by the voice conversion part 2 and transmitted to each circuit terminal, e.g. a telephone set 8, through a circuit control part 5 under the voice format. When the terminating system is a TELEX device 9 or a FAX device 10, the composition is transmitted with a character data format. If the designation to be transmitted is another work station 13, the data are applied to said voice data conversion processing and then processed data are outputted to a display or a speaker in an objective work station 13 through a work station control part 6. |
