PURPOSE:To reduce beat interference due to a VHF strong input signal at the reception of a UHF band by supplying forward current to a band switching diode in a VHF input tuning circuit at the reception of the UHF band to reduce its non-linear distortion. CONSTITUTION:A resistor 33 and a switching diode 34 are added between a UHF circuit driving power supply terminal 29 and an input tuning coil 24. At the reception of the UHF band, a UHF circuit is actuated when the power apply terminal 29 is turned on and the voltage of the terminal 29 is connected to the band switching diode 28 and a resistor 26 in the VHF input circuit through the resistor 33, the diode 34 and the input tuning coils 24, 23, 22, so that forward current is made to flow into the diode 28. Thus, the non-linear distortion of the diode 28 is reduced. |
