Polyester fiber cloth and knitting has hydrophilic properties by forming a number of micropores on the surface of the treated fiber and by use of 1-20 wt.% block copolymer resin of ethylene glycol and polyethylene terephthalate. The product is obtained by means of soaking into the solution containing anionic surfactant as dispersion agent, of which the chemical formula is R1-O(CCR2)H-CH2O)n-SO3-R3, and the concentration is 0.1-10 g/ , under 70-120≦̸C for 5-50 min; where R1 = alkyl, alkenyl, or alkyl aral gp.; R2 = H, emthyl, or ethyl gp.; R3 = alkali metal, ammonium, H, or alkyl gp.; and n = 1- 20, integer.
