Coal briquette is prepared from high-grade graphitic anthracite(I) by means of blending it with high-grade anthracite(II), corn starch(III) , lime stone(IV), and diatomaceous earth(V), and heating it to 200- 250≦̸C in a steam chamber, and briquetting with conventional method. The composition of each components are 47 wt.%, 47 wt.%, 2 wt.%, 2 wt.%, and 2 wt.%, respectively. The product has higher heating value and higher mechanical strength.
