[Also in Division A5] Novel urea derivatives of the general formula Cl 3 C.CH(OH).NH.CO.NR<SP>1</SP>R<SP>2</SP>, wherein R<SP>1</SP> is hydrogen and R<SP>2</SP> is an alkyl radical having 1-6 carbon atoms, a benzyl radical or a morpholinocarbonyl radical, or R<SP>1</SP> and R<SP>2</SP>, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached, represent a piperidino or pyrrolidino group, are prepared by reaction of chloral hydrate with a urea derivative of the general formula H 2 N.CO.NR<SP>1</SP>R<SP>2</SP>.</p> |
