PURPOSE:To raise a safety in a liquid layer of a bathtub, etc. by detecting a scattered light in a liquid of a light emitting element whose light emitting intensity is varied by a temperature detecting element, by two photodetectors for detecting a liquid level and a liquid temperature. CONSTITUTION:A liquid detector 1 has a cut part 2 in the lower center part of a body 1, and has a temperature detecting element 3 on the bottom part. On the other hand, a light emitting element 4 whose luminous intensity is varied by an output of the temperature detecting element 3 is provided on an inside wall 2a. On an inside wall 2b opposed to the inside wall 2a, a photodetector 5 is provided on a position opposed to the light emitting element 4, and a direct light of the light emitting element 4 is made incident. This photodetector 5 is constituted of a phototransistor 5a, etc., and a transistor 7 is connected between a signal line L3 and a common line C3 through a base resistance 6. |
