PURPOSE:To obtain a molding material of phenolic resin having improved injection properties, curing properties, and packing properties without raising material cost, by using hexamethylenetetramine as a curing agent, blending it further with water and methanol, using the blend. CONSTITUTION:In preparing a molding material of phenolic resin using hexamethylenetetramine as a curing agent, the phenolic resin is blended with 0.5- 3.0wt% based on total blended amount of water and 0.5-3.0wt% methanol. In order to blend them, a premixed blend is blended with water and methanol, preferably with a mixed solution of water and methanol or with water and methanol in the roll kneading process of the following process.
