The invention relates to a device for feeding the grinding oil on a gear grinding machine which operates by the disc wheel generating grinding method with a double-taper grinding body and in which grinding oil is fed under pressure to the toothed flanks by means of feed nozzles. The object here is to feed in the entire requirement of grinding oil automatically as a function of the module exclusively to the grinding-body width effective at any particular time. This is achieved by dividing the feed nozzles (6; 8) into nozzle portions which are provided with separate feed lines, by connecting the feed lines of the second and further nozzle portions to the delivery line via controllable valves (20; 21) by a procedure in which three signal generators (22; 23; 24) supply signals proportional to the radius of the toothing, the number of teeth and the helix angle, these signals being processed in an arithmetic unit (25) to give an output signal proportional to the modulus, which is fed to an actuating unit (26) for controlling the valves (20; 21).
