PURPOSE:To uniformly coat the inner wall of a neck near a funnel with conductive slurry by using a coating device with a rotary section consisting of an inner tube that pressurization-sends the slurry and an outer tube that pressurization- sends gas. CONSTITUTION:When an internal conductive layer 3 is formed by coating the inner wall of a neck 2 near the funnel 1 of a cathode-ray enclosure with conductive slurry, a rotary coating device consisting of a rotary section 27 composed of an inner tube 22 that pressurization-sends slurry 21 and an outer tube 24 that pressurization-sends gas 23, coating tool 29 made of a porous member provided in the vicinity of the upper end section, and cap 30 in which an edge section 301 makes contact with the coating tool 29 is used. Besides, the slurry 21 is injected into the coating tool 29 through the inner part of a cap 30 and the gas 23 is pressurization-sent when the coating is completed and then the slurry remaining in the inner tube 22 and the coating tool 29 is removed. As a result, the leakage of the slurry is eliminated and the long-term repeated use is enabled. |
