PURPOSE:To surely position a pin hole in a rotary shaft at its regular position, by detecting the rotating angle of the rotary shaft, and by pushing a positioning pin at a low pressure until the pin encounters the pin hole in the rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:A positioning pin 13 having such a diameter that the pin 13 is closely fitted into a pin hole 3 in a rotary shaft 2, is attached to one end of a pneumatic cylinder 12, and is set below the pin hole 3. There are arranged two microswitches 15, 16 in a range where a pressing element 14 attached to the lower end of a rod in the cylinder 12 passes. A photo-electric switch 10 which is arranged obliquely above the hole 3 and which is previously energized, issues its turn-off signal when the shaft 2 rotates and therefore the hole 3 is opposed to the switch 10, and therefore, a low pressure circuit 23 is switched on to advance the pin 13 toward the shaft 2 under a low pressure. The shaft 2 continuous to rotate until a switch 15 is turned on when the pin 13 enters into the hole 3 under a low pressure after the hole 3 encounters the pin 13. The rotation of the shaft is stopped and therefore, the positioning of the hole 3 is completed. |
