PURPOSE:To form an inclined surface on the cutting blade of a knife without the number of fabricating steps being increased, by removing a bulged rear surface part from the knife upon surface-polishing process after the contact surface of a seat for a screw which prevents the cutting blade of the knife from coming off, is formed by forging or plastic deformation process. CONSTITUTION:A flat bar A is subjected to press-work or forging process to be formed therein an attaching screw hole B for a screw which retains the cutting blade, and as well to form an inclined seat contact section C around the screw hole B. Further, a rear surface bulged part A' which is created due to plastic deformation is removed upon polishing of surface sections (a, b, c) after forming process, thereby no special cutting or removing process is required. |
