PURPOSE:To distinguish evidently a tool to be changed and facilitate a life management of the tool by storing and displaying the number of times of each tool and the number of times of life use in a punch press machine. CONSTITUTION:A numerical control device of a punch press machine is constituted of a device TCT for selecting a tool, a punch command device PIT, a memory M for storing the number of times of life use and the existing number of times of use of each tool, a counting device C for counting a signal from the punch command device PIT, a read/write device PWT for reading the existing number of times of use of a tool selected by the tool selecting device from the memory, setting it to the counting device C, and also writing a counting result as the existing number of times of use in the memory M, and a device D for displaying the storage contents of the memory. Accordingly, the existing number of times of use and the number of times of life use of each tool are stored in the memory and displayed, respectively, therefore, a life management of the tool is simplified. Also, when the tool reaches the number of times of life use, a signal is sent out and stored in the memory, therefore, it is also possible to replace automatically the tool basing on the life arrival signal. |
