PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive rotor for a centrifugal separator, by specifying the ratio of the columnar body of a CFRP layered body and the columnar crown part of said layered body. CONSTITUTION:A columnar main body part 1 made of a false isotropic carbon fiber reinforced plastic having specimen holes and a columanr crown part 3 made of a false isotropic glass fiber reinforced plastic laminate having a crown hole 4 are formed so as to adjust the ratio of the upper surface outer diameter of the crown part 3 to the bottom surface outer diameter of the main body part to 0.35-0.70. By this method, capacity is the same level and cost is reduced as compared with one wherein the main body part and the crown part comprise a CFRP layered body.
