PURPOSE:To accurately control the speed over a wide range from low to high speed roations by providing a pulse frequency divider which can vary the dividing rate by a command from a CPU. CONSTITUTION:A pulse from an encoder mounted on a DC motor 3 is applied through a waveform shaper 4 to a frequency divider 5. The pulse is applied directly to the input C0 of a data selector 7, and through a counter 6 to inputs C1-C3. Accordingly, the frequency dividing pulses of 1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 are respectively inputted to the inputs of the selector 7. A CPU1 selects the prrscribed frequency division pulse from the selector 7, and supplies a drive signal to a motor drice circuit 2 on the basis of the speed signal measured from the pulse interval. |
