INSTALLATION FOR PRODUCING THIN PLATE AT HIGH SPEED

PURPOSE:To produce stably a thin plate having high quality at a high speed by providing the water flow to be ejected to a conveying material in a conveying section for a thin plate material to convey the material by the kinetic energy of the water flow and providing a high-speed shearing machine and a sheared plate ejector between a casting mold and an installation for ejecting the water flow. CONSTITUTION:A hot steel plate which is perpendicularly and continuously conveyed cuts the crop at the front end by a flying shear 2 and the crop is kicked to the outside of a line by an equally distributing guide 3 actuated by a cylinder 4. The hot steel plate 1 cutting the crop at the front end is pressed to a guide roller 5 by the water flow ejected from a cooling water piping 19 and is changed directionally. The plate 1 is further guided by the water flow ejected from the roller 5 and cooling water pipings 7, 20 and is floated by the vertical water flow so as to be detached from the guide, then the plate is guided by pinch rollers 10.
