PURPOSE:To obtain a deflector roller by which it is unnecessary to remove and wash the roller, and an efficiency of a winding work is raised, by washing a contaminated part of the roller by band steel brought to a surface treatment, of a band steel rolling equipment, by jetting a washing liquid from the inside of the roller. CONSTITUTION:Band steel 4 is brought to a surface treatment 5 by a rust preventing oil, etc. and wound to a winding machine 2 by a proper tension through a guide deflector roller 1. Nonwoven cloth 13 on the surface of the roller 1 is always purified by a pressing roller 6 and a spatula, but a surface treating material which has invaded the inside of the nonwoven cloth 13 is not removed enough. The treating material which has invaded the inside is removed by feeding a pressurized washing liquid into the roller cylinder from a freely rotatable joint 14 and jetting it from the inside surface of the nonwoven cloth 13. Since conventional removal replacement and washing are not required, an efficiency of a winding work is raised. |
