PURPOSE:To provide a compact printing liquid operating device of simple construction comprising a single cylinder mechanism which operates a spreader for spreading printing liquid and a presser for pressing the same. CONSTITUTION:When a cylinder mechanism 11 is operated to extend, a parallel link 12 is rotated to the right to cause a spreader 19 to descend and a presser 20 to ascend. Here, a sliding member 10 which slides on a crossbar 9 moves at a speed slower than that of a rod 11a because of a brake 9a and a drive arm 17 rotates clockwise around a shaft 16 and hits a stopper 18a. At this point, the rotation of the arm stops, and a printing liquid operating mechanism 6 moves to the left and printing liquid is spread on a screen 4. Next, when the rod 11a is caused to contract, the parallel link 12 rotates to the left, the presser 20 descends and the spreader 19 ascends causing the drive arm 17 to hit against a stopper 18b and the presser 20 moves to the right while it is pressing the screen 4. |
