PURPOSE:To prevent the erroneous releasing of brake through such operation as to pull the knob in the direction of handle and to rotate the knob and the handle simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:Slits are made axially and radially in the cylindrical section 51 of guide 5 provided slidably in axial direction while not rotatably in circumferential direction on the rod 1 for operating the parking brake through a wire, and guide pins 12 provided on said rod 1 are inserted into said slits. Circumferentially rotatable knob 9 is provided on the outer circumference of guide 5 slidably in axial direction together with said guide 5. A gap is provided through a spring 13 between the knob 9 and the end handle 3, and when parking the handle 3 is pulled to the right to engage with the ratchet 4 while when releasing the knob 9 is pulled while the knob 9 and the handle 3 are grabed simultaneously and rotated to release the engagement with the ratchet 4. |
