<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a communication system excellent in economy by providing a packet assembling/decomposing (PAD) device having a communication means for a branch line between the branch line where plural non-packet terminals (NPT) are branched and connected mutually and a packet network (NET). CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 41 of a PAD device 40 transmits/receives non- packet data according to the control procedure for non-packet communication to NPTs 3a, 3b, 3c, ... and is operated according to the control of a control circuit 43. A PAD circuit 42 consists of plural PAD sections (PADi, -, PADj) corresponding to each address and a control section CNT3 controlling the packet data transmission. The control circuit 43 has control sections CNTi, -, CNTj corresponding to the address of the said NPT and the control sections transmits/ receives the control signal and data respectively to the control circuit 41 and the PAD circuit 42, then the data is transmitted by polling similary as the connection of terminals individually regardless of branch connection of the plural NPTs through the contstitution above.</p> |
