PURPOSE:To print an identification signal with nearly constant density without reference to the kind of a film by discriminating a display means for the kind of a film which is provided to a cassette through a discriminator, and setting the quantity of light, etc., of a light emission part automatically. CONSTITUTION:An indication tag, for example, in ''black'' for a regular type or in ''white'' for a orthotype is stuck as a display means 2. A discriminator 3 generates an output when the display means 2 indicates ''white'' by means of a reflection type sensor consisting of a light emitting element and a photodetecting element. Control circuits 6a and 6b differ in the capacity of a discharging capacitor or aperture opening degree from each other to set the quantity of light of the light emission part 5 to a necessary value. For example, the control circuit 6b is provided with a rotary switch 7 for fine adjustment. A switch circuit 8 is connected normally to the light emission part 5 and control circuit 6a (for regular type), and the light emission part 5 is connected to the control circuit 6b with a signal from a decision circuit 4. |
