DOUBLE LAYER SLIDING MEMBER AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain thin board without employing binder and to improve the flexibility by employing a rear metal made of thin steel plate applied with metal porous layer thereafter laminating expansive graphite sheet onto said porous layer and pressing. CONSTITUTION:A metal porous layer 2 is formed on a thin steel plate 1 then an expansive graphite sheet 3 is pressed onto said metal porous layer 2 to coat the metal porous layer 2 with an expansive graphite layer 4 thus to form double sliding layer. Consequently, remarkable effect of non-usage of binder is exhibited under high temperature ambience while since the expansive graphite is flexible, it will never cause crack or cut even under the condition subjected to vibration.
