PURPOSE:To improve the heat insulating effect and cooling effect of the bottom plate and cabinet by forming a space between a projection of a bottom plate of the main body having a heating chamber and a depression of a cabinet of a power source portion, and circulating air for cooling a magnetron to the space. CONSTITUTION:When the power source portion 5 is placed on a horizontal bed and the main body 1 is dropped downwardly from the perpendicular direction, waveguides 21 and 22 are connected to each other, and then airguides 27 and 28 are bonded together, the projection 34 of the bottom plate 33 being engaged with the depression 35 of the cabinet 6 on the side of the main body 1 and respective flat portions 94 being bonded to each other. Thus, an overlapped portion 93 is superimposed on the cabinet 6 at the side of the power source portion 5, thus completing the engagement. With the operation of a magnetron 19 a blower motor 24 starts its operation. Most part of air after cooling the magnetron 19 flows back into the heating chamber 9 from the air guide 28 through the air guide 28. However, a part of air flows back to a space 36 via an opening part 89. As a result, an effective heat insulating layer is formed on the main body 1 and the power source portion 5. |
