PURPOSE:To read exactly radiation image information accumulated to a phosphor sheet by curving a phosphor sheet along the focal locus of the excitation light reflected by a rotary mirror and making the irradiating conditions of the excitation light equal. CONSTITUTION:The inside of a curving means 3 is made hollow and the top surface thereof is curved to a recessed surface shape along the focal locus of the excitation light reflected by a rotary mirror 23; moreover plural suction holes, for example, 33a-33c and an evacuation hole 32 on the bottom surface are provided in order to curve a phosphor sheet 3 along the focal locus 29 of said excitation light. For example, a vacuum sucking machine is connected to the hole 32 and the atm. pressure in the means 31 is decreased by the sucking means. The sheet 3 is thus sucked to the holes 33a-33c and the sheet 3 is curved by contacting tightly with the top surface (curved surface) of the means 31. |
